HELP US CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF NORTHBOURNE OVAL

2025 marks a century since the establishment of Northbourne Oval — a central part of Walter Burley Griffin’s original design for Canberra.

Listed on the ACT Heritage Register, Northbourne Oval is North Canberra’s earliest enclosed public recreational reserve and has been used continuously since 1925 – a vital hub for sports including cricket, Australian rules football and rugby league.

To mark the occasion, we’re inviting everyone who’s been part of its story — past, present — to join the celebration.
